AIR JORDAN

Air Jordan is a series of basketball shoes manufactured by Nike, with related apparel and accessories sold under the Jordan Brand. The inaugural Air Jordan shoe was created for Michael Jordan while he was with the Chicago Bulls, debuting to the public on April 1, 1985, after its initial production on November 17, 1984. The design was developed by Peter Moore, Tinker Hatfield, and Bruce Kilgore. The iconic Jordan Logo, known as the "Jumpman," was inspired by a photograph taken by Jacobus Rentmeester before Jordan's participation with Team USA in the 1984 Summer Olympics.
